59th Coconino County Fair

Labor Day weekend brings the largest high-profile event in Northern Arizona. The 59th Coconino County Fair is set on August 29-September 1 at Fort Tuthill County Park in Flagstaff, AZ (Exit 337, off I-17).

Catch this year’s headliners-Casper & the Mighty 601 Band, Hopi/Dine Reggae, on Fri., Aug. 29; Country legend Bellamy Brothers will rock the fairgrounds with hits like “Let Your Love Flow,” “Redneck Girl” and “Dancing Cowboys” on Sat., Aug. 30; and Al Hurricane will mesmerize the crowd with his music ranging from Rock n’ Roll to Spanish on Sun., Aug. 31. Headliner shows start at 8 pm.

Recently cited by the Arizona Fairs Association as the largest in Northern Arizona and the third largest statewide, the Coconino County Fair offers an array of recreational and educational opportunities for the whole family with three special activity and exhibits areas: arts and culture, conservation and sustainable environment, and variety stage, as well as traditional fair exhibits, livestock shows and auction, cultural presentations, a wide variety of commercial and food vendors, carnival, live entertainment and a beer garden.

Fair dates are Aug. 29 to 31, 10 am- 10 pm and Sept. 1, 10 am-4 pm. The Livestock Auction by 4-H and FFA is on Monday, Sept. 1 at 10 am.

Beginning August 1, early bird all day carnival passes ($8 saving/ ticket) will be available at Coconino County Parks & Recreation (CCPR) while supply last.

Save gas and parking fee and receive $1 off admission by riding your bike or taking the FREE shuttle service to and from McConnell & Pine Knoll Dr., parking lot at NAU, or participate in the CCPR-led nature hike and get in the Fair for free. Meet at Fair’s Main entrance on Sat., Aug. 30 at 10 am.

Limited vendor spaces also available; discount offered to Coconino County based businesses; call 928-679-8006. Enter your best pie recipe, collection, flowers, agricultural products or fine arts creation for ribbons and cash.
