12th Annual Historic Downtown Street Fair / Car & Bike Show

This year Casa Grande Main Street will hold the 12th Annual Historic Downtown Street Fair /Car & Bike Show with 225 vendors selling art, pottery, jewelry, clothing, sculptures, and products of all kinds. The Street Fair will take place on Saturday, January 21st from 10-5 and Sunday, January 22nd from 10-4 in Historic Downtown Casa Grande on Florence St. between Main St. and Florence Blvd.

The Car Show will be held on Saturday (only) from 10-3 on 2nd Street between Sacaton and N. Toltec St. It will feature 195 classic cars and motorcycles. This year on Sunday (only), there will be a “Show and Shine” car display on 2nd St. between Sacaton and Florence St. The Historical Society will have a display of antique fire engines at Florence St. and 2nd St.

There will be a 50/50 raffle to benefit the Historical Society on Saturday. VFW Post 1677 at 111 E. Florence St. will have a Silent Auction on Saturday 9-2. There will be two food courts and continuous entertainment on 3rd St. at the Budweiser / Henry Brown Auto Stage.

This event is the annual fundraiser for the Casa Grande Main Street program, which has been a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation – Main Street since 1993. The State of Arizona has 12 Main Street Cities. This program deals with the historic preservation and the economic, social and cultural revitalization of the Historic Downtown District

Main Street puts on a weekly Farmers Market September through May on Tuesdays from 9am to 1pm. Each 1st Tuesday of the month they hold an event called “Art in the Alley” from 5:30 to 9pm. Florence St. between 2nd and 4th is closed off with a Classic Car Show. There are two bands at each end of the event and an open Mic in the Alley – as well as Arts & Craft vendors. All the restaurant and shops are open for this popular community event, which takes place from September through May.

  1. I have never been to this car show in Casa Grande, but I do go to the Barrett Jackson car auction. This show looks like it would be right up my alley… [pun intended]
