River City RV Park
Great Value in Bullhead City, Arizona
The River City RV Park has been serving value conscious RV travelers since 1984 with friendly service and a great location at reasonable prices. You’ll find us at 2225 Merrill Avenue just three miles south of the Laughlin Bridge on the Arizona side of the Colorado River in Bullhead City.
We feature clean restrooms, laundry facilities, a rec hall with games and exercise equipment, heated pool, horseshoes, and outdoor barbecue areas. Wi-Fi is available, and a dog run is adjacent to the park. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the river, and you can launch your boat just a quarter mile down the road.
The exciting city of Laughlin with ten casinos is just across the river, and Las Vegas is only a 2-hour drive. Other attractions nearby include Lake Mohave and the old town of Oatman. A 4-hour drive will bring you to the Grand Canyon.
We’ve lowered our monthly rate to $300, but electric usage is now charged separately. Our weekly and daily rates ($125 and $21) have remained the same and these include electricity. Cable TV with 70 stations is free. Propane deliveries are scheduled. We honor most major discounts like Good Sam and AAA.
The next time you are thinking about staying on the Colorado River – for a day, a week, a month or a year – give us a call! You’ll find lots of friendly folks to hang around with and friendly managers to help you out.

Celebrate Winter Desert-Style!
Lake Havasu City’s Winterfest Is Not to be Missed
Don’t bring your snowshoes, but bring your walking shoes! Winterfest, a 27-year annual celebration of winter visitors, local residents and seasonal fun, returns to Lake Havasu City on Feb. 11-12.
More than 40,000 visitors will rub elbows along a two-mile aisle of vendors along the center of McCulloch Boulevard, flanked by shops, bars and bistros – 250 vendors packed into 425 spaces and 200 licensed storefront businesses, many with sidewalk sales. You’ll also find an Off-Road Zone, featuring ATVs and bikes – the toys you need to explore our natural surroundings.
There’s entertainment throughout the day, as well as things to do for the kids – pony rides, bungee rides, a climbing wall, arts & crafts and more. Hungry? Graze your way through an assortment of food booths. For adults there will be a beer garden adjacent to the Pearl Bailey Showmobile, a moveable stage named for late famed singer who was a part-time resident of Lake Havasu City.
Visitors like to stop at the Chamber’s booth to put pushpins into a large-scale map of North America indicating the town and state – or province if they’re Canadian – which they call home. Times: Sat 10-5, Sun 10-4. There is no admission charge.

Welcome to Quartzsite
The Gathering Place!
The Quartzsite Business Chamber of Commerce would like to extend a warm invitation to everyone to come on down to the most beautiful part of the Sonoran Desert-where people gather from all over the world for the most unique experience of their lives!
Quartzsite is a little town of 3700 residents in the southern part of the state, at the crossroads of Highway 95 and Interstate 10 between Phoenix and Los Angeles to the east and west and Lake Havasu City and Yuma to the north and south. It has always been known as the “Gathering Place” since its early pioneer days, when miners, storekeepers and pioneers settled the area as a way station on the stage route.
Now Quartzsite is a “Gathering Place” of a different kind-every year since the early 60s when it started as a small selling area for rocks and gem tailgating, it has grown in leaps and bounds to become one of the biggest swap meet areas in the country. Almost 2000 vendors come each year and bring all kinds of merchandise from all over the world.
Last winter, over one and a half million people visited this area … hard to believe so many people would come all this way for this little town, but come they do — the show season runs from November to March, with the busiest show times in January and February. This includes the huge Pow Wow Rock & Gem Show, as well as the Sell-A-Rama, RV Sports Vacation show, and much more. Check out the show schedule on page 9. You can shop until you drop all over town!
Don’t Miss Tyson Wells’ Three Big Shows!
Located on the southwest corner of I-10 and Hwy 95, the Tyson Wells Showgrounds is one of Quartzsite’s biggest draws. Over 25 acres are covered with hundreds of vendors and 2.2 miles of aisle frontage give visitors easy access.

Next is the Tyson Wells Sell-A-Rama from Jan. 20-29 where some 450 dealers showcase an unbelievable variety of items: antiques, coins, crafts, hobbies, jewelry, even more gems and minerals, great food and lots more in an outdoor spectacular not to be missed.
Following is the Tyson Wells Arts & Crafts Fair from Feb. 3-12 offering an amazing selection of creative, custom and handcrafted works by around 150 national artisans. Admission to all these events is FREE.
