The Vail Country Fair is back and bigger and better than ever! Now in its fourth year, this annual event is being held at the Pima County Fair Grounds on November 10. Hours have been extended to 9:00 to 5:00 and admission and parking are free! Look for fun for all ages with events and exhibits for everyone in the family: oreo-stacking, a petting zoo, helicopter rides, cow-pie bingo, exhibits from 150 local businesses, schools, clubs, and organizations, food…and the beer garden will be open! Oh, and don’t forget the dunk tank…come buy some balls and help us soak some local types, it’s your chance to ‘get even!’ Who wouldn’t want to see the likes of Calvin Baker, Tricia Pena, Darcy Mentone, Dennis Fischer, Peter Minot and more go for a little swim?!
The Fair is brought to you annually by the Greater Vail Area Chamber of Commerce and is the chamber’s annual fundraiser. The chamber is a diverse group of over 100 of your neighbors, local business people, from local restaurant owners to trash haulers, educators to retirees who care about and work within your community to advance the general welfare and prosperity of your home town. This year the Fair is the final drop off point for Operation Caregiver, an effort spearheaded by the Arizona Association of Community Managers and the Vail School District whose goal is to send 1000 care packages to troops deployed overseas.
